Using the comments boxes on the Gundog Club website

by admin on February 7, 2012

It has been great to see people beginning to use the interactive facilities on the new wordpress pages on the website.   We will be building more of these pages over the coming weeks.

Every new post, page, article or category published on the website has the facility for you to add your comments at the bottom.   We welcome your comments and love to hear from our readers.

This article is just to let you know what you can and can’t use the page for, because in addition to the comments that you see,  there have also been a few inappropriate comments which we have not published.

All the comments that are posted on this site are ‘moderated’ by a human being before they ‘go live’.

If you are wondering why your comment has not appeared, it will be for one of the following reasons

  • Advertising
  • Personal messages to trainers

We don’t publish  spam (comments that are posted to purely to promote the author’s website, shop, etc).   Nor do we publish comments containing dogs for sale, at stud or available for rehoming.    These types of posts can be placed in our classifieds section.

Personal messages

We do not publish comments containing personal messages to our trainers, staff, or trustees.   You can contact your local Gundog Club trainer using the Instructors link at the top of the page and staff and trustees can be contacted via our office on 01428 717529.

Most comments are published

We are always very happy to hear about your dogs,  how you are getting on with your training and to receive feedback and suggestions via the comments boxes.   Please note that this website is manned largely by volunteers but that we will do our best to respond to your comments where appropriate.

Happy commenting!
