 Grade Four HR is launched

 LATEST SPANIEL FIELD TEST  IS RELEASED  26th May 2009

The Gundog Club is pleased to announce the release of the latest in its series of Field Test awards for spaniel style gundog work.

The emphasis at this grade is on proficiency both in hunting, and in retrieving dummies. 

One field test pass is required for the dog to receive the award of Proficient Hunting Retriever.   Additional new skills required at this grade are: stop to shot/fall;  blind retrieves; retrieving over a jump

The Grade Four HR Field Test is part of the Gundog Club's National Graded Training and Awards Scheme.  The first of its kind for gundog training in the United Kingdom.  Gundog Club Awards are being developed in up to six grades from beginner to master level.  Three categories of gundog work are available: Retriever, Hunting Retriever (spaniel) and HPR
