Six novice gundog trainers from Chorley each gained their grade one Field Test awards in early May.

Student Peter West captured the happy band on his mobile phone, together with Assessor Mike Tomlinson (far left) who put the group through their paces on the day.

The six participants obtained 1 pass; 2merits; 3 distinctions (2 with 100%)  An excellent result for the students and for their Instructor John Erskine.

Gundog Club training courses are run at venues throughout the UK.  Grade One courses are an introduction to gundog training for complete beginners and pet dogs are very welcome.
