Bel Grundy & her handsome Labrador Retriever 'Harley' started
training with Gundog Club trainer Stewart North in
June 2008. She attended grades one and two at Great Glen, Leicestershire
and then went to Brixworth, Northhants to train for
grade three.
Says Bel: "I only wanted to pass each grade but
with Stewarts expert training we achieved
distinctions in each grade."
In July 2009 Bel decided to 'Have a go' at a Gundog
event run by the Game Conservancy & amazed herself
by finishing joint 2nd. The 'run off' showed her
weakness so finished 3rd which meant it was back for
more training with Stewart to sort the problem out.
This placing has qualified them to attend Weston
Park in Shropshire.
"I just wish I could fit Stewart into my game
bag to give me luck on the day" says Bel!
The
Gundog Club team would like to congratulate Bel and
