Team Trainers
If you are an experienced gundog trainer, like variety, enjoy travelling, and want the security of employment, this is the section for you.
The role of Gundog Club Team Trainers is to deliver the Gundog Club's Graded Training Scheme to its students. The core of the Gundog Club's training scheme lies in its Field Test awards and in the eight week training courses we run to prepare students for each grade.
As a Gundog Club Team Trainer you will carry out Field Test Assessments and run training courses. You will also have the opportunity to train students on a one-to-one basis where the client needs individual attention, and you may be given the opportunity to provide structured training days or 'workshops' to supplement our training courses.
The Gundog Club's Team Trainers are employed by the Gundog Club and have the security and benefits that come with employment, such as regular pay and pro-rata holiday pay. The regular hours that you work each week will be agreed and set down in your terms of engagement.
You will have the opportunity to learn about the Graded Training Scheme from senior Gundog Club trainers.
Most of our employment opportunities are part-time and include weekend and evening work as this is when many of our students want to train. As a Team Trainer you may be required to teach at a number of locations throughout your area. Considerable driving may be involved.
