Associate Instructors
If you want the freedom to carry on your own gundog training business alongside your Gundog Club work, whilst benefitting from the full administrative support of the Gundog Club in training its students, this is the section for you.
The role of Gundog Club instructors is to deliver the Gundog Club's Graded Training Scheme to its students. The core of the Gundog Club's training scheme lies in its Field Test awards and in the eight week training courses we run to prepare students for each grade.
Opportunities
As a Gundog Club Associate Instructor you will have the opportunity to run our training courses and to train students on a one-to-one basis where the client needs individual attention. You may be given the opportunity to provide structured training days or 'workshops' to supplement our training courses.
The Gundog Club works with self-employed trainers at over fifty locations throughout the UK, to deliver it's graded training programme nationwide. Our Associate Instructors teach our students at their own training facilities, so no extra travelling is involved.
Benefits and support
The Gundog Club provide full administrative back up for Associate Trainers, including processing bookings, providing online payment facilities, processing payments, dealing with customer enquiries etc. You won't have to collect and process payments, or to send information packs to students, and you won't need to build web pages, or to advertise your training courses. All this will be done for you. You receive payment for your work from the Gundog Club, not from our students. If a student fails to turn up without letting you know, you will still be paid.
Membership of the Associate Register and all its benefits, is currently free of charge to our Accredited instructors.
Responsibilities
As a sub-contractor, all Gundog Club students, taught by you, remain clients of the Gundog Club, and you will need to be willing to respect this aspect of the association between us. You will also need to be willing to continue to meet our standards of conduct and performance.
Independence
As an Associate Instructor you will have more freedom than an employee. You will be able to choose how many hours you work and when your weekly slot for each training course take place. We can help by advising you of the days and times which tend to be most popular, but the final decision is up to you.
Whether you teach Gundog Club students for just a few hours each month, or for several hours each week, you will be a offering a professional service of which you can be proud.
