Gundog Club directors, Pippa
Mattinson and Sam Austwick are delighted to announce
that the Gundog Club is now under the ownership and
management of a new charity: The Gundog Trust.
All proceeds from the sale of training, books, field
tests etc through the Gundog Club will now go to the
charity, and be used to fulfil the charity's mission
and formal objectives.
Pippa says "its always sad to
let go of something you have worked so hard on, but
we will remain on board as two of the five trustees,
and we are confident that moving to charitable
status is the best way for the Gundog Club to
continue to fulfil its important mission of helping
all gundogs and their owners"
Incorporation of The Gundog Trust
The first meeting of the board
of trustees for The Gundog Trust took place on 6th
June 2011 and the trustees are pleased to confirm
that the incorporation of The Gundog Trust as a
company limited by guarantee* is now complete.
The process of registering The Gundog Trust with the
Charity Commission is now underway, and a
provisional date has been set for the official
launch of the charity.

The official date for the
launch of our new charity has been set for 6th
August 2011. We will be arranging some fun
celebratory activities and fundraising events to
take place in the next few weeks so please watch
this space!

The board of trustees for the
Gundog Trust is now complete. The first
meeting of the board of trustees will take place on
6th June
2011. After this date we should have
some interesting information to bring you.
