Training a gundog is a long
journey. At some point along the way, you are
likely to need some support.
-
Are
you finding it hard to keep motivated?
-
Do
you have a training problem you cannot solve?
-
Do
you need access to a good training area?
-
Are
you struggling to control your dog amongst other dogs
The Gundog Club is here to help
We
provide a unique gundog training programme and
support network, through our Graded Training
Scheme taught by Gundog Club Instructors
Motivation
It can
be hard to stay motivated when you are training
alone. A few lessons with an instructor may be
just what you need to revitalise your training, and
get you back on track. Taking part in our Graded
Training Scheme with its unique non-competitive
awards is highly motivating and great fun.
Problem solving
Problems
can seem insurmountable when you are struggling
alone. The dog that won't come back for example,
or that won't pick up game. These and many
other problems respond well to expert help. Many novice
trainers find the help of an experienced instructor
invaluable, both for moral support and for the
problem solving abilities of a professional. The
Gundog Club provided both group and personal tuition
with our Instructors throughout the UK.
Learning to work in a group
Sooner
or later, you will need to teach your dog how to
behave amongst other dogs. Our group sessions enable
your dog to learn to focus on you even whilst other
dogs are around.
Training Facilities
Each of
our Instructors has unique training facilities with
access to a range of different experiences for your
dog. If you are looking for waterwork for
example, we have instructors that can help you.
Training in a different environment can be very
beneficial for the young dog that is just starting
to make real progress.
