A Gundog Club
Puppy Session is a one-to-one training session with
an experienced gundog instructor in your area.
Puppy sessions do not involve formal training.
The purpose of these sessions is to:
Gain
advice and support:
Bringing home a new puppy is a huge responsibility.
As if worrying about the right food, and about
keeping him well and happy is not enough, you
also need to think about raising your new puppy as a
well mannered canine citizen, and not spoiling his
chances of being a useful gundog. You may also
be given a wide range of conflicting advice from
well-meaning friends and relatives.
Gundog Club Instructors understand these concerns
and provide a wealth of experienced and unbiased
advice and support at this crucial stage in your
puppy's development.
Observe correct techniques:
Books can be very useful but sometimes it
really helps to see techniques demonstrated,
and to have your own actions observed first hand and
if necessary adjusted.
Avoid common mistakes: A one-to-one session with
your instructor will enable him to help you avoid
those common mistakes which so many of us make with
our first gundog puppy and get you off on the right
foot.

our instructors offer puppy sessions. Click on

trainer who offers puppy sessions...
Puppies need to have
completed their first course of vaccinations before
attending a puppy session. Check with your vet
to make sure your puppy is ready to go out and
about.
Please note: You may
be asked by your instructor to show him your
vaccination certificate. |
