you will be sent confirmation to let you know that
we have received your booking This does not indicate that you are
'guaranteed' a test. We will do our best to
arrange a test at a suitable time in a suitable
location. If however, we are unable to arrange
a test to suit you, we
will provide you with a full refund of any payment you have
made.
Cancellation or postponement by us: We
reserve the right to cancel or postpone any Field

YOUR
DOG
Bitches on heat are not permitted on the
test ground without the written agreement of
the assessor. Such permission is very rarely
given and so we recommend that you do not book a
test during a period of time when you think your
bitch may come into season. If your dog is
refused entry to the test ground due to being in
season, we regret that we will not be able to refund
your test payment.
Responsibility for the dog: The handler
takes sole responsibility for the welfare of the dog
during the test. Handlers must only work a dog in a
Gundog Club Field Test with the knowledge and
consent of the registered owner, unless they are a
professional trainer with residential responsibility
for the dog.
Behavioural problems: The trainer
has the right to exclude from his test ground any dog
which in the opinion of the assessor, has behavioural
problems which may interfere with, or pose a risk
to, any person in the vicinity of the dog, or which
may interfere with other any other tests taking
place on the same day, or which might interfere with
any other activities legitimately taking place on
the site. This includes but is not limited to, dogs
which are aggressive, or bark excessively.
Health: All dogs attending a Field Test
day must be in good health and have up to date
vaccinations. The assessor may ask to see
evidence of vaccination status before allowing
access to the test ground. Please do not bring a
dog to a Field Test which has been in contact with an
infectious disease within the previous 21 days.
CANDIDATES
The Handler: The dog should be worked in the
test by the Handler named on the entry form. The
named handler can only be changed with the agreement
of the Gundog Club. The handler must be over 18
years of age or accompanied by a responsible adult.
The nominated representative: The Gundog
Club will liaise solely with the nominated
representative of any group booking. Documents
will be sent to the nominated representative and he
or she is responsible for making a single payment to
the Gundog Club, and for distributing the
necessary documentation and information sent to him
by the Gundog Club in good time.
Disruptive behaviour: The assessor has
the right to exclude from the Field Test day any student who in
the opinion of the assessor, is behaving in such a
way as to interfere with the proper running of the
field tests.
