Gundog Club Field Tests are
non-competitive.
Each dog is
tested against a standard set out by our panel
of experts. You can take a field test
privately on a one-to-one basis with your nearest
Assessor. Or as part of a group with your
friends or local club. Or you can join in on
one of our pre-arranged Field Test days.
Field Test Days
Field test days are pre-arranged
to take place soon after the completion of each of
our training courses. You do not need to have been
on a course to take part.

Personal Field Test Assessments
Individual field tests
assessments are held at your local Assessor's
premises at a time convenient to you. You may
book online or by telephone.

Group
Bookings
The most economical way to take
your field test is to get together with some friends
and book as a group, or to book through your
instructor together with his or her other students.
Group bookings can currently be made by telephone by
a 'nominated representative' or Gundog Club
Instructor.

Before you take your test
You will need to make sure that
you are entering the
right category of test, and that your dog is at
the required standard. Once you have selected
your category (retriever, spaniel or hpr) from the
menu on the left, you will be able to access
information on the standards required at each grade.
