Spaniels are amongst our most popular gundogs.  Full of energy and spirit,  these tireless little dogs love nothing better than to work all day.   Prone to mischief if their enthusiasm is not properly channelled, the spaniel breeds can be more demanding for the novice handler than retrievers but a good training programme will transform your lively friend  into a deeply rewarding companion both in the field and at home.
