Grade Two  -  what is it all about?

Retriever

Hunting Retriever

HPR

Making progress: Grade Two is about expanding on those first few steps that you have taken and getting the basics thoroughly established.

Reliable obedience: deepen your dog's obedience skills, learn to work without a lead, introduce the stop whistle

Confident retrieving: learn how to steady your dog, and build his retrieving skills as he grows in confidence

Beginning to specialise: Grade Two test requirements begin to diverge between the different categories.
